A day in the life/ responsibilities of a Beck Technology SDR:

  • Research assigned prospects (company and the main point of contacts) via web, social media, LinkedIn, etc.
  • Keep our CRM system up to date at all times with your daily touch points
  • Construct and write punchy emails to the prospects (we encourage creativity and infusing your personality into your communications).
  • Utilize our sales enablement technology to consistently engage prospects
  • Set qualification calls with prospects to determine the prospect's needs, pain points, and if they fit our ideal client profile. You will be measured by the number of qualified opportunities you bring, not the number of calls. 
  • Clearly articulate our sales process to prospects, set expectations, and define next steps
  • Efficiently move qualified prospects through our process by providing a smooth transition to the Account Executive team
  • Present a professional image in communication, conduct, attitude, and attire
  • Take ownership and help refine the process. Be willing to wear multiple hats. We are a growing company and need someone to take initiative.


Key Criteria:

Our ideal candidate:

  • BA or BS with emphasis Business, Sales, Technology, Engineering or Construction required.
  • Prior work and/or internship experience at a technology company or startup environment, working in sales or marketing role
  • Experience with CRM and knowledge of the AEC industry (Architecture, Engineering, and Construction).
  • Is passionate about technology and solving problems
  • Finds innovative ways to gets tasks accomplished.
  • Cares about our business, our people and our prospects.
  • Is persistent but professional.
  • Is driven by exceeding weekly, monthly, and quarterly targets.
