 Responsibilities:

  • Manage all insurance programs for General Liability, Workers' Compensation, Equipment Builder's Risk, CCIP Programs, Excess Umbrella, Subguard, Professional, Pollution, Auto, D&O, Fiduciary, Crime, K&R, BTA, Office Contents, Tampa Office Building.
  • Develop overall plans and programs that identify, evaluate, measure and monitor all risk exposures
  • Secure all insurance documents required by the construction contract, ensuring that they are issued correctly and transmitted to the appropriate person.
  • Maintain contact with all departments to effectively manage the company's risks.
  • Secure all required bid, performance/payment, and surety and court bonds.
  • Manage claims reported by personnel with broker and insurance carrier.
  • Ensure that new lawsuits are forwarded promptly to the insurance carrier for response and track to ensure that the company is kept abreast of all developments
  • Review and negotiate company contracts which include Owner construction contracts, leases and service agreements.
  • Handle audits for all programs and work with controller to establish processes for capturing liabilities and revenue recognition.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree from accredited university, preferably in Risk Management, Business, or Public Administration
  • 10+  years in Risk Management, Construction experience preferred
  • Experience developing overall plans and programs that identify, evaluate, measure and monitor all risk exposures
  • Experience administering insurance policies and coverage for large organizations
  • Ability to create and report metrics and key risk indicators to facilitate management and process improvement
  • Thorough knowledge of principles and practices of avoidance, reduction, retention, and transfer of risk
  • Strong interpersonal and team leadership skills.
